I have to get a blood test for work. (Its an annual test to detect for metals in my blood because i work with hazardous materials) The only problem is i get severe panic attacks the entire day leading up to the blood test. then when my blood is being taken i get restless and try to run away because i am so nervous. my question is can i get prescribed like one dose for this (similar to getting prescribed this before an airplane ride). so im just wondering if this is even possible and should i consult a doctor. Thanks!
I don’t think they will do this for a blood test, I would go to the pharmacist and them if there’s something over the counter for this. Maybe benadryl would help you.
