The possible side effects of Xanax (Alprazolam)?
Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:

You CAN’T stop the side effects of the drug but if the side effects are serious enough she SHOULD STOP the drug. I’m not sure why she’s on it or if she really needs it, but if this drug doesn’t work for her the doctor can prescribe a different one that will maybe work better for her.
