This site has good links to reviews about online and campus pharmacy schools:

I attended the http://quicktestprep.com pharmacy technician online school. It is very convenient because I can take the course from the MWR computers on post. They even mail free books to soldiers overseas. The mail is slow here but I was able to read the book online before I received it in the mail. I’ve taken other online pharmacy technician courses before and they were not as good as Quicktestprep.com.

For example, other online schools for pharmacy technicians such as Rxtechschool, Gatlin and Canyon College are NOT taught by a pharmacist. A pharmacist “coordinates” or teaches “some” of the classes at the other online pharmacy tech schools, but most or all of the classes consist of a clueless person answering your questions by email or internet chat. One school, Gatlin, had a Doctor so-and-so teach the class. This mislead me to believe that she’s a pharmacist, but upon further questioning, she was a doctor of education, not pharmacy. RxTechSchool and Canyon College used pharmacy technician instructors. I asked all these instructors a basic question about the legal requirement for working as a pharmacy technician in a certain state but they were all unable to answer my question. Thank God my credit card company helped me wrangle a refund from those jokers.

Go to Quicktestprep.com to get your pharmacy technician training done conveniently online. Tom King, the pharmacist instructor will personally teach all your classes with live video conferences. I had to miss most of my classes because I’m currently deployed, but he had recorded videos of his classes for me to watch online and he arrived 30 minutes early to class to tutor me if I missed the previous class.

After I complete the pharm tech course, I will use the http://newsveritas.com pharmacy technician forum and reviews website to sell my pharmacy technician books. Hey, don’t tell Tom, but even though he gave me the PTCE review book for free, I’m going to sell it after I’m done using it. Newsveritas.com will also have some reviews written by other students of various pharmacy technician books and websites. Good luck!

You can easily compare info about these schools in this site – edu.2kool4u.net

I agree with what Sally said about http://www.quicktestprep.com/ . It has everything you’ll need to learn to become a pharmacy technician. Tom King of quicktestprep.com helped me pass the pharmacy technician certification test by making things easy for me. You know how some teachers are boring and put you to sleep while others are exciting and have a knack for making difficult stuff easy to understand? Remember when you didn’t understand something, but your teacher said something to you that just made it “click” and you said “oh, so that’s what it is.” You might be surprised to find that professor King is just that type of teacher. He has a knack for making all sorts of stuff easy to understand. To top it all off, he gave me a free book just because I’m a single mother! He gives free books to single mothers, vets, and pre-pharmacy students.

If you would like to read some other reviews of the quicktestprep book and other pharmacy technician books before you decide what to buy, then I suggest you go to http://www.newsveritas.com/ . It is a pharmacy technician forum with pharmacy tech job listings, pharmacy tech requirements listed for every state, and pharmacy tech salaries for every state.
