I asked this question in the health section and never got a really clear answer so I figured I’d ask it here. I assume the testing is done per NIDA standards. I have a Rx for Xanax but not for Valium. If I got tested would the test distinguish between the 2 drugs or would it simply come back positive for benzodiazepines?

HI! I was offered a job today, provided I have a clean drug test. They gave me the slip for the lab & I’m going first thing in the morning. My question is, I was prescribed Vicodin after getting a tooth pulled this morning. Do I bring the bottle with to show them at the lab, because it will definitely show up. I don’t want to be denied employment because I’m taking the drug, temporarily, for a legitimate reason.

I have a script for Norcos and Vicodin but recently tried an oxycodin. I am curious if they all read the same on a drug test.. Just in case.
