In May I had my gallbladder removed, and recently I cut my finger and had to get stitches. I had some pain medication left over from when I had my surgery. Is it okay for me to take it or could I get in trouble (like with school or work)? How long does a pain prescription stay valid? I mean the prescription is in my name, but since it is a few months old would that count as illegal?
